SQL DBA JD: Summary View

· 5 + years of experience working as MS SQL DBA and technical support experience.

· Having Azure domain experiences is a big asset.

  • Experience with MS SQL Server or an equivalent database product – Must have.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and SQL database optimization and problem solving role – Must have.
  • Experience with Relational Database management systems and concepts
  • High Availability: Failover clusters, Always-on availability groups and replication
  • Experience/Knowledge of Windows Server Cluster Services in On-Premise environments
  • Experience in MSSQL Server Performance - CPU, Memory, High usage and database maintenance
  • Knowledge Backup and restore operations on the databases
  • Knowledge in database migration.
  • Knowledge on Installation and upgrades.
  • Experience in Database and Server Administration
  • Should be able to deploy and Troubleshoot SQL Server Failover Cluster Instances etc.
