The Chef Supply is a restaurant equipment and supply dealer. We are looking for a team member who can add value and grow with our business.
The ideal team member is professional, organized and has excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills. Bonus if they have a passion for food and cooking!
Position Responsibilities:
- Greeting and assisting customers with requests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Providing customers with information on products to ensure a positive customer experience
- Cashing out customers and ensuring data accuracy
- Answering phones and contacting customers and suppliers
- Maintaining customer records and sales history, completing other data entry as needed
- Learning new products and becoming an expert on what The Chef Supply offers
- Completing daily stock maintenance (IE. pricing, signage, cleaning)
- Informing team members of stock outs and completing stock checks
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and assist more than one customer at a time
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Team player with a positive attitude and the ability to adapt to change
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong computer and phone skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Saturday availability is required
Successful candidates will be offered a position contingent on the result of a police records check.
