We supply glass products to the west coast and have done such large projects as BC Place, Science World, and Calgary City Centre. Our unique business allows for customer orders to be fulfilled within days. There's a lot of science that goes into each and every one of our products!
We currently have an opportunity for a Customer Service Representative to join our team. This is a 12 month contract with potential to become permanent full time.
What you will be doing:
- Accurately process phoned, faxed, and emailed quotes and orders in accordance with cut-off times and other time constraints that may exist.
- Data entry of faxed, emailed and phoned in orders, for production.
- Answer calls from the general public and customers in 3 rings or less and transfer to appropriate individuals as needed.
- Acts as first point of contact for visitors to the Company by greeting customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner.
- Ensure sign-in/out procedures at front desk are followed; including reviewing Company safety protocols with all Visitors and Contractors.
- Coordinate between Sales Representatives, Production and Distribution to meet customer deadlines.
- Communicate with customers to determined expected delivery date and time.
- Assist other CSR’s with expediting orders.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous Customer Service experience would be an asset.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills to be able to work in a team environment and collaborate with co-workers.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize work in order to meet deadlines.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and correspondence.
- Ability to read and perform mathematical calculations, write measurements in number fractions to 1/16” at high school education level.
- Strong data entry ability with a focus on detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work additional hours as needed during busy season.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Salary: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
