COMMUNICATIVE DISORDERS ASSISTANT / CDA - PART TIME

The Speech Associates is a private practice providing speech therapy and aba intervention in homes, schools and daycare facilities in cities across Ontario. Our Autism Team is currently accepting applications for part time contract positions in Durham Region and Scarborough.

Starting rate : $60.00 (45 minutes of direct therapy time)

$80.00 (60 minutes of direct therapy time)

The successful candidate will provide direct intervention to pre-school children and school aged children with ASD under the supervision of a registered SLP to address a variety of needs including: articulation difficulties, motor speech disorders, language delays, learning disabilities, and ASD

Requirements:

  • CDA degree and / or sufficient experience working with children with Autism
  • Experience with PECS and AAC
  • professional liability insurance
  • criminal record check
  • experience with speech therapy intervention in numerous areas
  • access to a vehicle with valid car insurance for business use
  • a valid driver's License
