Responsibilities:
- Provide efficient and courteous sales and service to all customers.
- Verify validity of cable connections.
- Promote and sell Rogers residential services (TV, internet, home phone, Smart Home monitoring and wireless) with special emphasis on package selling via personal presentations.
- Perform door to door sales activities in signal families’ units (houses) in the assigned Territory
- Obtain and provide local market intelligence and feedback to the Sales group.
- Document and submit sales orders on a timely basis.
- Learn and adhere to all applicable Health & Safety regulations, both legislatively mandated, and as outlined in Company policy
- Participate in events to sell and promote Rogers residential services (TV, internet, Home phone and Smart Home monitoring)
Qualifications:
- Core Competencies: Customer Focus; Teamwork; Communication; Accountability; Innovation.
- Proven sales experience with emphasis on customer service.
- Proven success in a relevant direct sales position is essential.
- Highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
- Competitive product and technological knowledge of the telecommunication industry a definite asset.
- Available for evening and weekend work. Expected hours of work: Mon to Fri 1 or 2 p.m. to 7 or 8 p.m., Sat 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
