We are Expanding our delivery network into BC with various opportunities. Walmart Western Fleet is looking for you to deliver to Surrey, Calgary as well as local Sicamous Area. This position runs 5 days per week. Evening, overnight, and weekend work may be required. We have an excellent team of drivers who put safety first. What You'll Be Doing:

• Hybrid 50% Yard Work and 50% HWY Driver.
• Operating tractor trailer equipped with multi-speed transmissions (automatic or standard) safely by adhering to all safety requirements
• Perform inspections of mechanical, safety and emergency equipment of tractor trailer unit before, during and after trips
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers and co-workers in a professional matter
• Use of a satellite tracking equipment
• Observing and complying with rules and regulations of the Ministry of Transportation and the Highway Traffic Act

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Class 1 driver’s license
• Minimum of 3 years’ verifiable tractor trailer driving experience
• No criminal code convictions to which you haven’t received a pardon for, or within the last 15 years
• No more than 1 moving violations in the previous 12 months
• No more than 3 moving violations in the previous 36 months
• Defects on driver CVOR to be reviewed and deemed acceptable by the safety department
• Must have excellent safety and compliance record
• Must have excellent driving skills
• Flexibility to accommodate different start times
• Drop/Switch
• Ability to chain/unchain

Required Experience:

• Class 1 driving: 3 consecutive years (Required)
• Clean Abstract
• This position requires specialized skills and certifications, therefore only candidates that have relevant current experience will be considered.

Mountain Drivers Earn:

0.659 cents per mile base pay, plus

0.02 cents per mile safety bonus, plus

0.20 cents per mile Mountain premium.
