ZAG Community of Businesses is the parent company to seven 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchises across North America, headquartered in Calgary, AB.

Job Overview:

We are looking for curious, courageous, and creative business development representatives (BDR) to join our growing sales team in Calgary focused on commercial sales. As a BDR, your objective is to identify and qualify new sales opportunities for the team. It is an entry-level position designed to open a wide range of career opportunities for you within our Sales, Marketing and Customer Success teams.


What you will do:

  • Identify new prospects in close collaboration with your Account Executive
  • Manage the past customer contact list in Pipeline and process from prospecting / lead generation through to handoff to the local operations team
  • Ensure that prospective commercial customers understand all aspects of 1-800 GOT-JUNK? product services and benefits
  • Qualify prospects and book meetings for area managers and commercial sales lead
  • Participate in daily huddles and chats to celebrate wins and share best practices
  • Achieve set sales call targets with a focus on over achievement
  • Autonomy to own your success!
