Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Apprentice Electrician who takes pride in their work and enjoys working by themselves or as part of a team. Duties and Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical systems and remove and replace faulty components

Install, replace and repair lighting fixtures and electrical control and distribution equipment, such as switches, relays and circuit breakers and electrical panels

Test continuity of circuits using test equipment to ensure compatibility and safety of system, following installation, replacement or repair

Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations

Connect electrical power to audio and visual communication equipment, signalling devices and heating and cooling systems

Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations

Estimate jobs, setup, cleanup jobs

Order and pickup material

Must have own tools and vehicle

WHMIS

Working at Heights

Valid G class driver’s license with a clean record

Preferred Requirements, Skills & Experience

Residential service work experience

Excellent Troubleshooting and Problem Solving Skills

Previous Customer Service Experience

Salary: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
