Coast Claims Insurance Service is seeking a multi-line adjuster to join our team in Nanaimo, BC. As a fully independent adjusting firm with 16 locations in BC, AB and now in NT, we are one of the largest firms in the province and have a reputation for providing exceptional service levels and experienced adjusters..


About you:

The successful candidate is passionate to deliver quality service and enjoys bringing clarity to confusion. An excellent listener and communicator as well as a skilled investigator and negotiator. They will need to build their own contacts and manage their relationships to secure future business and referrals.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Claims business
  • Must obtain and retain the required adjuster license
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Exceptional computer skills. Ability to navigate various systems, proficient in MS Office
  • Desire to learn and excel in a diverse and interesting field

Asset:

  • CIP, FCIP, or bachelor’s degree
  • Construction background
  • ICBC vendor licensing
