Aston Carter's growing client in the Aerospace industry is looking to add an Inventory Accountant to their team on a permanent, full-time basis in Calgary. The role is best suited for an experienced accountant with inventory accounting experience, a post-secondary education in accounting, and a CPA designation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze & report on worldwide distribution network inventory.
• Prepare monthly inventory KPIs and reports.
• Participate and support initiatives related to excess and inactive inventory in collaboration with business.
• Execute activities regarding month end processes analysis and budget exercise.
• Review, control, and analyze valuation of the exchangeable parts inventory.
• Review, analyze and recommend areas for improvement.
• Provide support to Supply Chain, Material Logistics and Distribution organization.
• Provide accurate, timely and reliable information to support business requirements.
• Provide support on external and internal audit.
• Provide support on various ad hoc requests from management.

Must Haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• CPA designation (or close to completion)
• Intermediate Excel experience
• Large ERP experience
• 2-5 years experience supporting inventory management and reporting in an accounting role

Nice to Haves:

• Aerospace experience
• Software experience with SAP or IFS
